What is a valid physical for the 2024/2025 school year?

All physicals must be conducted by a licensed medical provider.

Only physicals completed June 1st 2024 or later. Physicals conducted prior to this date will not be accepted.

Physical forms must have the official stamp of the health care provider.

What if my student athlete completed their physical last spring? Do they still need a physical to participate in a fall sport?

Yes, even if the physical is less than a year old, we require all athletes for the 2024/2025 season to have a physical completed after June 1st 2024.

Will athletes have an opportunity to get a physical on campus?
- June 25th 2024 athletes can get a physical at the RHS training room for $25 cash.
- Students must have the top half of the physical form completed before arriving on June 25th

When is the deadline to turn in my physical?

Fall Athletes – July 17, 2024

Winter Athletes – October 2, 2024

What if I miss the deadline to submit my physical? Can I still participate on a team?

Yes

After the deadline for each season, athletic clearances will be reviewed on a weekly basis. Even if all documents are submitted, athletes are not cleared to participate in athletics until the Athletic Director has reviewed the documents.

Athletic clearances will not be reviewed after March 15, 2025
Can I see if I like the sport before having to get a physical?

Athletes are prohibited from participation in training, practice, or tryouts without a valid physical.
